Cio’ che maggiormente caratterizza il funzionamento dell’organismo o delle sue parti e’ il fatto che esso non sia costante ma molto variabile. A volte ci sentiamo bene, altre volte male; a volte abbiamo una buona digestione, altre volte cattiva:a volte fronteggiamo le prove piu’ ardue con calma ed equilibrio, altre volte il minimo incidente ci lascia irritati e nervosi. Questa mutevolezza del nostro funzionamento e’ lo scotto che paghiamo per essere organismi vivi e autocoscienti, incessantemente impegnati in un processo di adattamento al mutarsi delle condizioni.
